Per WP:BURDEN, the burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material, and it is satisfied by providing an inline citation to a reliable source that directly supports the contribution. While that source supports the DOB, the citation needs to be at the date of birth - as well as other sentences it supports. Putting the citation elsewhere is not citing the DOB and removing the direct citation is nothing short of disruptive. Toddst1 (talk) 04:29, 18 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Popular and commonly edited articles such as Joe Biden and Donald Trump do not have citations for the date of birth in the lead. It is also unnecessary to have a ref name for the first sentence as the reference itself is after the very next sentence. All information before a reference must be cited in that reference so it is not "removing a direct citation" as you claim for some reason. Jon698 (talk) 04:34, 18 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

No, her marriage is supported by #2. The source could (and did) support her DOB invoking the WP:REFNAME, but it has been removed from that sentence. Per WP:CITEFOOT
The citation should be added close to the material it supports, offering text–source integrity. If a word or phrase is particularly contentious, an inline citation may be added next to that word or phrase within the sentence, but it is usually sufficient to add the citation to the end of the clause, sentence, or paragraph, so long as it's clear which source supports which part of the text.
