ETTUVEETIL PILLAMAR WERE THE DESAVAAZHIKAL

Maarthandom, Vengaanoor, Pallichal, Raamanaamatom, Chempazhanthi, Kulathoor, Kazhakkootam, Kodumon; these were the Eight Desams and each Ettuveetil Pillai was having his own army.

"The local governing councils existed in Kerala in geographical units like Thara or Kara (village), Desam (a region or territorial unit of military military jurisdiction)"

The Indian journal of public administration, Volume 43‎ - Page 79, Published by Indian Institute of public administration.

"The Thara - Kara in Thiruvananthapuram, was essentially the local organization or Nair Elders, the Desam was the Unit of military organization and its area was determined by the number of soldiers it was required to provide".

Suggestion to title modification for getting inclusion in 'Nair' search results edit

I propose the title of artile "Ettuveetil Pillamar" to be modified as "Ettuveetil Pillamar (Nair Lords)" for better search results in internet search engines. I hope this is a valid reason to suggest because none of internet search does not list this article while searching for the term 'Nair.' The term 'Nair Lords' has been conceived from the first sentence of the 'Ettuveetil Pillamar article' itself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pprasadnair (talkcontribs) 07:06, 30 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
