Please, just check: Often referred to as "indigenous knowledge," Ethnoscience introduces a perspective based on native perceptions. It is based on a complete etic perspective, which excludes all observations, interpretations and or any personal notions belonging to the ethnographer

I notice that the article does not include any discussion of ethnophysics. Perhaps this is because mainstream physicists tend to be unaware of the field. But there is some interesting information on the topic available at, for example, WikiMechanics.org .
