I agree edit

SusunW. Your edit summary; I would not give Neel her own space in Ashton's biography. She has obscured Ashton's own talent for decades. Link the two by all means, discuss the painting, but don't highlight her more than is necessary. is astute and displays how you can teach me while we build the next few articles. I should be ready to fly from the nest by the time we get down to the letter "S" on the Womens List. (jK) Right now, I'm gonna look up How to do a DYK for the Appel article. Buster7 ROFLOL. It's truly a balancing act. Women are obscured not only by men, but also by other women. What we DO want to do is make sure that our women are linked to the articles of the "obscurers" (is that a word?) I linked Appel on the muppet articles which already had her name there (you can check it by clicking on the link from her article "What Links Here", but I did not add her to the ones that she was not already in--my bad. We'll need to make sure that there is a redlink Ashton in Neel's bio. SusunW (talk) 20:03, 11 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
#1 DYK....User:Rjanag/Quick DYK 2 helped Alot!!!! Buster Seven Talk
Buster7 I think we are done. I used all the stuff we had and added a bit more as I went. Changed the info box from death date and age to death year and age, since we don't know the actual date and it now works. Please make sure there are no obvious misspellings, duplicate words, etc. Do you want to move this one or do you want me to? SusunW (talk) 17:07, 12 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
Buster7 I see you marked it as ready on the main women page, so I'm gonna go ahead and move it. You have 7 days if you want to do DYK. SusunW (talk) 16:46, 13 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Also worth DYK= edit

In 1998, the mural Ashton painted in the Tunkhannock post office was restored and a documentary was made about it in 2009. Newsworthy, people love documentories, 2009 is Modern Times. Can two DYK's come from the same article???? Buster Seven Talk 21:00, 11 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Buster7 Nope, only one DYK. And only 200 chars. But you could do both things in one hook. Something like: DYK that ... one of Ethel V. Ashton′s watercolors was part of a Grumbacher study on color retention and her post office mural at Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania was featured in a 2009 documentary? (It's 177 chars) SusunW (talk) 17:04, 12 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
