hi, I can work on this article. he was an important figure in the early 80s Melbourne music community and is an Australian composer still. trove search has books & journals (I need to take a look at these more closely) : http://trove.nla.gov.au/result?q=%22ernie+althoff%22 - there's also some 80s Australian music magazines archived and he would be mentioned in those (or surrounding articles which I can search from these) http://spill-label.org/FastForward eg issue 6 has David Chesworth from Essendon Airport talking about the Clifton Hill Music Community Centre (http://spill-label.org/FastForward/ff06/ff06.php) Kathodonnell (talk) 01:01, 12 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

I've added some references. was a bit busy today so didn't get them all done, but there's still more on trove. books & journals. I'll try add more detail to the article also from the bio & articles. NMA was an important experimental label & publication (magazine) from 1970s/80s Australia - it's not on WP, though I think this is a gap which needs to be filled rather than not being notable. hopefully this is enough to start with so the article doesn't get deleted?
