I suggest we not delete this entire article merely because the title reflects the correct spelling of the subject's name. How about we delete the article in which the subject's name is misspellt in the title? That way we could eliminate a glaring error, instead of perpetuating it and making it difficult for people to locate the article.141.70.11.37 (talk) 02:52, 22 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Contested deletion edit

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... it replaces the article in which the subject's name is misspellt in the title. If we delete this article--with the correct spelling of the subject's name--we will be perpetuating an error and making it difficult for people to locate the article. --141.70.11.37 (talk) 02:54, 22 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

As I explained on your talk page, the article has to be deleted to make way for the old article to be moved to the correct name. The goal is the same, but the path is slightly different. It's a technical deletion, and only temporary. - MrX 03:07, 22 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
