Wild Buckwheat edit

Is Eriogonum wild buckwheat, or is Fallopia Convolvulus? There's inconsistency between the Eriogonum and Wild Buckwheat pages Rojomoke (talk) 02:16, 14 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Its my understanding that Eriogonum is a native North American plant and F convolvulus is native to Eurasia and African. Perhaps the inconsistency could be remedied by the addition of a disambiguation statement with link to the other article. I would wonder also if perhaps the name of the Wild Buckwheat article should be changed to the scientific name of the plant; they're in the process of changing all these articles to scientific names instead of common names.Trilobitealive (talk) 03:00, 14 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
I did a disambiguation statement for lead in to both the articles but didn't change the other article name. You might want to do so and make Wild Buckwheat into a disambiguation page.Trilobitealive (talk) 03:15, 14 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
Good idea, done it. Britishwildflowers (talk) 12:54, 26 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
I did some clean up by moving dab page to Wild buckwheat, making Wild Buckwheat a redirect page and putting disambig statements on the other 2 articles.Trilobitealive (talk) 14:55, 26 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

I like having a dab page for "wild buckwheat". Thanks for doing that. Could you try repharasing the dab statement on the top of the Buckwheat page to reflect that the page is not about a plant known as wild buckwheat. Phytism (talk) 23:30, 3 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

OK, see how you like the change.Trilobitealive (talk) 00:59, 4 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
