Report of death edit

@Folengo: Hi! Regarding this revert, where you wrote "See WP:Facebook", WP:FACEBOOK says: The official page of a subject may be used as a self-published, primary source, but only if it can be authenticated as belonging to the subject. Here, the verified account of the University is reporting the death of one of its professors (the article subject). Why do you feel this is not a reliable source? We don't use FB on the Deaths in 2019 and it's better not to use social media in other pages. As Wikipedia is not a news agency, there is no need to hurry and insert a dodgy social network source for Naylor. I'm sure his death will be confirmed in a foreseeable future by more reliable sources. For now I'll let FB there, but needing a better source. --79.24.120.14 (talk) 18:47, 18 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

That's my comment above. --Folengo (talk) 18:49, 18 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the quick reply! I posted at WP:BLPN asking for more editors to chime in. I don't really have any prior experience with this sort of issue, so I'm not sure what's best, other than that because it's a recent death BLP, it's important we get it "right", whatever that may be. Settled now, thanks for comprehension. --Folengo (talk) 18:59, 18 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
