Maxim Choupo-MotingEric Maxim Choupo-Moting – Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is the common name and was the name of this article from January 2008 to July 2014. The move was wrong. [1][2][3][4][5]-PibeDeOuro (talk) 13:38, 3 September 2014 (UTC) PibeDeOuro (talk) 13:38, 3 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • Comment - First of all, transfermarkt is not a reliable source. Second of all, there are a couple of sources I've come across like NFT and ESPN FC that refer to him as 'Maxim Choupo-Moting' and there are other sources like FIFA and Soccerway who refer to him as 'Eric Choupo-Moting'. – Michael (talk) 17:49, 3 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

You can't compare NFT with the official homepages of his club and the DFL and the Kicker is the most reliable football magazine of Germany. His former clubs used Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting too (Mainz: [6] HSV:[7] Nürnberg:[8]) and if you google Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting you get way more results than Maxim Choupo-Moting -Eric. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is also most commonly used by the newspapers.--PibeDeOuro (talk) 22:29, 3 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

German-Cameroonian edit

Hello. Should we change the nationality of Choupo-Moting in the first line to "German-Cameroonian"? This is what was done to John Brooks (soccer, born 1993), who is in a similar situation. Paul Vaurie (talk) 15:52, 18 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
