Merging the letters back in

With the exception of the seventh letter, these aren't really very notable works, whether or not Plato really wrote them (and he likely didn't...). They are also very short and there's been little criticism on any of them that really stands independent of the collection as a whole. As such, there's really not much to write on any of them that wouldn't just be a summary or a paraphrase of a work that is itself a very short paragraph. Also, it seems like pretty much every classical scholar who is currently alive and qualified to comment rejects the authenticity of the other letters and even the Seventh, so other than the seventh it seems rather trivial to track who did or didn't think it was real, this is a page on the letters, not on the gullibility of 19th and early 20th century historians! I'll change my tune if people can point to a robust debate that's still ongoing but it... really doesn't seem like there is one? - car chasm (talk) 02:15, 26 February 2023 (UTC)
