New edits and quotes

MelanieN (and any others), do you want to have a look at the new edits introducing direct quotes. I'm not a fan of them, because they seem to be aimed at pushing a negative portrayal of Trump. I'm also not a huge fan of using that many quotes because summary prose is the default style of Wikipedia and I think it doesn't fit with the voice. I would revert, but don't want to violate 1RR. After the last edit, I'm reverting per the exemption to IPs (slash, 1RR wasn't technically placed on this page by an admin looking through the history, even though I think it is a good idea). TonyBallioni (talk) 01:01, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
Those were not real quotes, they were vandalism. 1RR does not restrict us from removing vandalism. The user has been blocked, but that may not hold since IPv4s change frequently. If they return I will protect the page. --MelanieN (talk) 02:26, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
Noticed that when they posted here (which I removed as a BLP vio), and on one of the latter quotes which was clearly a hoax. Thanks for the response. TonyBallioni (talk) 02:28, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
