 Done. I removed it not because I think it is incorrect, but because it feels awkward in the first sentence. It would be better to add more detail to the first paragraph describing the results. Yonatan Netanyahu

The German Wikipedia claims, that Yonatan Netanyahu was the Israeli commando who shot on the two Ugandian soldiers at the beginning of the operation and was killed in return fire. This version is also in the article about him, together with the alternative version of him beeing killed later on. In the first sentence, please remove

and add

Since this phrase is at the very beginning of the article, understanding these terms (which is impaired by line breaks) is particularly important, and the presence of the infobox guarantees that the width of the first paragraph is narrower, increasing the number of line breaks and making it more likely (versus text elsewhere in the article) that one or the other of these hyphen-linked terms will be subject to a line break. 123.51.107.94 (talk) 22:16, 29 March 2023 (UTC)

The raid could not proceed without assistance from at least one East African government. The Israeli government secured permission from Kenya for the IDF task force to cross Kenyan airspace and refuel at what is today Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Kenyan Minister of Agriculture Bruce MacKenzie persuaded Kenyan President Kenyatta to permit Mossad to collect intelligence prior to the operation, and to allow the Israeli Air Force access to the Nairobi airport.[56] MacKenzie's support for the operation came after Sir Maurice Oldfield, the then head of Britain's MI6 intelligence agency, put his contacts in Mossad in touch with MacKenzie, who had been an MI6 contact for some time.[57] The Jewish owner of the Block hotels chain in Kenya, along with other members of the Jewish and Israeli community in Nairobi, may also have used their political and economic influence to help persuade Kenya's President Jomo Kenyatta to help Israel.

Please change "President Kenyatta" to "President Jomo Kenyatta" (and add a link to him), and then at the very end, change President Jomo Kenyatta to President Kenyatta and remove the link. Operation Entebbe → Entebbe raid – Per WP:MILMOS#CODENAME and WP:COMMONNAME - operation names generally make poor titles, and here, the operation is not even the most common name, Entebbe raid is by a fairly wide historical margin. It is also not the correct operation name, since it was actually "Operation Thunderbolt", hence Operation Thunderbolt (film), or Mivtsa Yonaton (lit. Operation Jonathan) in Hebrew. Possibly in part due to this already ridiculous degree of operational name confusion, 'Entebbe raid' is the matter-of-fact name in other tertiary sources, such as Britannica, and 'raid' is prevalent in the other film title, and review articles 40 years on [1] [2]. "Entebbe raid" continues to persist widely in editorial usage to this day: [3] [4] [5] Iskandar323 (talk) 06:31, 3 May 2023 (UTC)

Are these refer to the same person? What is the proper spelling, then?
