Squad table edit

Hi. Here is the previous discussion. The standard of centring the table is used across all tour pages. Per WP:BRD anyone who wishes to change this must dicuss this and gain a consensus to do so. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 14:42, 13 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Silence is the weakest form of consensus there is. The tables are centred because one person made a unilateral decision to centre them, and now claims that consistency is a good enough reason to keep doing so, despite no actual reasoning for it other than "I like it". By default, all tables (nay, all content) on Wikipedia is left-aligned; that should not be overridden without a good reason to do so, and the only reason anyone has given so far is an opinion regarding the aesthetics of it. Something more substantial would be nice... – PeeJay 23:35, 14 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Again, I point you to the discussion at WT:CRIC and the discussion at my talkpage with you and Blue Square Thing, which has the following comment :"Either format looks dreadful on a mobile browser in portrait mode, but the same is true of most table (a bullet format works much better if we're considering this as important). On a super-wide desktop monitor with full bowser width, I'd opt for centred I'm afraid PeeJay - sorry; but that's just my eye, I could well be wrong, but I think I'd tend towards keeping tables in whatever format they were first established unless there's an obvious reason not to do so - the "no actual squad" for a home side issue is the most obvious reason to remove them, perhaps". The burden is back with YOU to state why a long-standing consensus should be changed other that you don't like it. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 18:16, 28 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
So you're going to conveniently ignore the bit where he said "sorry; but that's just my eye, I could well be wrong"? – PeeJay 18:46, 29 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
