Monteverdi Orchestra edit

What is the relationship, if any, between the English Baroque Soloists and the Monteverdi Orchestra? The article on John Eliot Gardiner says "In 1968 he founded the Monteverdi Orchestra. Upon changing from modern instruments to period instruments in 1977, the orchestra changed its name to the English Baroque Soloists." Can this be confirmed? The Monteverdi Orchestra was essentially the same orchestra as the English Baroque Soloists. From http://www.monteverdi.co.uk/50/timeline/desktop-version (in a Flash application):

1968 Creation of the Monteverdi Orchestra [...] In the late 1970s, Sir John Eliot Gardiner undertook three successive seasons at the Innsbruck Festival der Alten Musik, during which his 'modern instrument' Monteverdi Orchestra made its transition into the English Baroque Soloists. The ensemble gave its first public performance on 23.09.77, playing Handel's Acis and Galatea, followed by a recording of the same work.

I will amend the article accordingly.
