This page should not be deleted because, while it is not as famous itself, Engine is in close relation to a widely famous singer: Ray Alder, in the sense that he is a member of the band. Engine is one of Alder's "projects" and I think that people should be informed about it. Also, Wikipedia's rules should, in my eyes, accept any band that is signed to a record label to have an article. This band is signed under Ray Alder to Metal Blade Records. On top of that, Engine has four studio albums out and is somewhat successful. Like I have said before for many reasons, this article most certainly should not be deleted.

You'll need to improve the article using reliable sources. You could start with the (brief) Allmusic bio [1], and reviews.[2][3] There's more from Billboard, Billboard again, and Blabbermouth.net. If you can demonstrate in the article that the band has been the subject of significant coverage it shouldn't get deleted.--Michig (talk) 08:29, 9 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Engine is in no way "progressive metal" other than through their members. They're more of an alternative metal band a la Deftones. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.15.98.20 (talk) 20:48, 12 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
