Hello, my name is Catherine Catcho. I work at Mead Johnson Nutrition (Social Media - Global Marketing). As an employee of Mead Johnson Nutrition, I am here to contribute information that will improve the quality of company’s corporate and brand pages. I am aware of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines and will abide by them. Recently, the PR team and I went through the current Wiki page for Enfamil and found some recommended minor edits needed. If you would like to contact me, please leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.

Hi Catherine, thanks for stating your conflict of interest and for improving the page. It's always nice to have articles updated. I wonder, though, if the page should contain a full list of products. See WP:NOTCATALOG. tedder (talk) 17:29, 21 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

tedder (talk) Hi Tedder: Thank you for your quick response to these edits. I'm happy to make this page more global vs US (to show expanded information including history and products).

I have also two non-minor changes that I'm unsure how to update. Could you help me with these two? Changes are in Bold text

  1. 1 Intro:

Enfamil is made by Mead Johnson Nutrition and is one of the brands in the company's family of infant formulas. From 1972 through 2011, Mead Johnson used Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit on its U.S. packaging. However, in 2012, the company transitioned to its signature duck across its U.S. Enfamil product line.

  1. 2 Ingredients:

Please delete "and traces of melamine have been found in Enfamil products as well[citation needed)"... Here is the background: In January, 2009, a preliminary test report from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration FDA stating levels of melamine in US infant formulas was provided to an Associated Press media outlet reporter under the Freedom of Information Act. Subsequent news stories included some of Mead Johnson’s products among those in which melamine was detected when in fact, the U.S. FDA did not detect any level in any of melamine in Mead Johnson's products.

The FDA confirmed that melamine was not detected in Mead Johnson infant formula products (http://www.fda.gov/NewsEvents/PublicHealthFocus/ucm179013.htm) and media reports indicating that trace levels were detected were inaccurate. The FDA also contacted key media outlets to ensure they had correct information about Mead Johnson's products.

Thank you, in advance, for your help. ICatherineC (talk) 18:06, 21 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

I think the rabbit/duck would go well in a history section. The melamine bit is interesting. Again, it sounds like something that would be great for a history section- "enfamil was incorrectly stated as containing melamine by an AP... both FDA and Mead Johnson have confirmed this was inaccurate." tedder (talk) 18:26, 21 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi Tedder

Thanks for the direction. As you know the page currently is US-focused. I ended up keeping the melamine fact out of the history- because it was caused by happenings in China. As we update the page to become more global, I will keep date-related facts in the history section. Thank you again for your quick feedback. It was helpful.
