An energy plus house is only an energy plus house if within it's devices (solar, wind or other) it produces more energy (electricity) then it consumes. Otherwise it may be a low energy house or fit into other categories. The current article is misleading in this aspect.

The author William McDonough describes a type of architecture that is designed after the natural image of a tree which produces clean air for its environment, filters the ground, and provides many different organisms with the livelihood that they need. The tree's engine that makes this incredible performance work is photosynthesis which surpasses all of our current decentral power-units by far.

Merge & Redirect Suggestion

I'm trying to tidy up the entry for PlusEnergy, which is pretty messy right now and suffers from a bunch of issues. However, I don't think much in this article adds to it so we can probably redirect Energy-plus-house (after grabbing some of its links) to PlusEnergy. Merger would be an overkill. PlusEnergy is mostly associated with Rolf Disch, while Energy-Plus is more common term, also widely used by The American National Institute of Building Sciences. Both entries should stay. (46.251.117.205 (talk) 10:33, 23 November 2014 (UTC))
