Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on October 24, 2011.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that Venezuelan singer-songwriter Franco De Vita received nominations for the Latin Grammy Awards for his album En Primera Fila and the song "Tan Sólo Tú"?

Comments edit

Here are the changes I made to the article:

  • I included the Argentine Albums weekly and year-end chart and a left note instructing how to access the charts in the reference.
  • I added the chart position for Tan Solo Tu in Mexico.
  • I added nominations for the Premios Oye! 2012.

Some notes:

  • There is now a review from Allmusic.
    • I will add it to the reception section, thanks. Jaespinoza (talk) 00:21, 2 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • De Vita has made a tour called "Gira Mira Mas Alla" and this should be in the article under a promotion section. Google News and Google News Archive.
  • Tan Solo Tu has been certified platinum in Mexico.
    • I will add it on the article for "Tan solo Tu", I think is a better suit for this info. Jaespinoza (talk) 00:21, 2 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

That's all for now. Cheers! Erick (talk) 08:45, 28 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Very good job! I do not think the article will have any trouble passing GAN. My only final suggestion would be to update the lead as to not leave out any crucial information on the summary of the article. Erick (talk) 18:51, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Personnel Section edit

Hi.

The article is quite good, no doubt about it but a personnel section in fundamental for an album article, without it it can`t be assessed properly. Zidane tribal (talk) 00:43, 16 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Fixed. Thanks for the praise. Jaespinoza (talk) 23:12, 21 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

En Primera Fila y Más edit

De Vita released a new edition of the album called En Primera Fila y Más. I added the additional tracks from that album. Erick (talk) 18:02, 1 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)

I feel that this is a clear pass, as it meets the GA criteria very well.

  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose):   b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
The lead gives a good overview on the article. It lacks source, however, the rest of the sourced content backs it up. No problems with any grammar/spellings in the prose, and sections are appropriate and relevent.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references):   b (citations to reliable sources):   c (OR):
Overall, referencing appears ok, however, I am slightly doubtful about the reliability of the album cover notes, but I feel that enough notibility is shown elsewhere.
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects):   b (focused):
As well as giving facts about the article, it gives the background and other accociated information about the article.
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
No means of leaving a NPOV are in there.
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
Nothing shows up as an edit war recently, if at all.
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales):   b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
All images are appropriate, and tagged accordingly.
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
    Clear pass, Good work!
