Notability Requirements edit

Ellora Derenoncourt is an Economist and an academic, so the notability requirement has been taken from Notability requirements for academics. Derenoncourt meets WP:Prof#7 as her work has had multiple citations on national press. Woman4Tech (talk) 19:58, 3 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

This is not an encyclopedia article edit

It's not neutral ("demonstrated" is a matter of opinion), and although it's brief, it's still hopelessly padded out:

"Her work on racial inequality has focused on the gaps in earnings by race and on the evolution of racial inequality in the 20th century.... Currently, Derenoncourt is working on her research on the economic history of institutions and the economics of inequality."

Both sentences above are padded out and repetitious, and the second is superfluous.

English version: Her work has focused on 20th century gaps in earnings by race.

Twelve words, instead of 43.

And where are her critics?

This is an advertisement by an incompetent copywriter.2603:7000:B23E:33EE:ACA1:5FBE:31C3:3F28 (talk) 16:59, 7 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

  •   @QuakerSquirrel and Woman4Tech: This article is new enough and long enough. The article is neutral, and I detected no copyright issues. A QPQ has been done. The hook facts may be mentioned in the quotation given above but they do not appear in the article, and they need to do so if you want to use that hook. • @Cwmhiraeth: I have updated the article to include the specific statistic of 20%. Let me know if there are additional concerns. -QuakerSquirrel (talk) 18:20, 5 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
