Andre the Giant's place

I realize Andre Roussimoff's former farm/ranch is not a tourist attraction and is probably not even open to the public, but it would be good to have a small section of the article give info on its location, nature, and how to visit or at least drive by it. Whether there's a place to park or anything in particular to see. (This would not be overboard, because the article itself states that this is probably the best known thing about the town.) 208.103.180.154 06:50, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

The AFJ Ranch, as Andre's property is known, is located on NC 73W. It's 3 to 4 miles from the intersection of US 220 (Business) and NC 73W. The driveway is on the right just before you cross Mountain Creek (The east side).

Ellerbe is also known for Winston Cup Champion Benny Parsons. A true gentleman and class act, Benny recently passed away. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 167.199.179.180 (talk) 19:04, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
