'to counter the brotherhood'? edit

The bloc, according to the wiki article as it stands, is intended to counter the Muslim Brotherhood's new party. The source for this appears to be a journalistic piece by Al Arabiya. However, this contradicts the bloc's own statement, which it made during its opening conference. I think that section should be removed, or rephrased as speculation (which it is). || Moemin05 (talk) 23:03, 15 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Statements of the Bloc itself (the article's subject) are not considered reliable sources. On the other hand, I see no reason why not to consider Al Arabiya a reliable source. Al Ahram agrees with the view as presented. Therefore I cannot see this analysis as speculation. If you find reliable, neutral sources that contradict, I will agree with rephrasing this statement. If you doubt the reliability of Al Arabiya, please bring this to the Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard. Thank you for your understanding. --RJFF (talk) 19:30, 16 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
