There were two Edward Eggleston's edit
It is worth noting that the Edward Eggleston who authored a 1913 book titled The Ultimate Solution of the American Negro Problem was apparently not the same person this article is about. The latter died in 1902, whereas the former wrote the preface to the aforementioned book in 1912. A historian (George M. Fredrickson, The Black Image in the White Mind, p. 250) likewise refers to "Eggleston (a Virginian, not the Indiana novelist)" when mentioning the book. Hence my edit to this article. --Ismail (talk) 09:22, 31 December 2021 (UTC)
