This thing reeks of bias! What about include the anarchist period of his economic history? What about their economy nowadays? Isn't it important? This article give the impression that economy will only exist at all if they has a government!

This article is a basically a copy of chapter 5 in Somalia: Nation in Search of a State (1987), the headings are exactly the same as the book and the text is a copy too, with bits replaced and things added.
