The original incarnation of this page, being based exclusively on text from 1911, was so outdated and idiosyncratic as to be almost useless in terms of understanding economic entomology. As a first pass at this, I trimmed it down to what seemed salvageable, but it needs a great deal of additional work yet. Dyanega 00:07, 20 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

After a very messy attempt to clean up the vandalism on this page, someone managed to come in and do it for me, but there is still a bit left in the early workers section.
