Removed the statement that the continued existence of the British Eastern Fleet was the first Japanese disaster of the war. It can be argued that the parts left UNTOUCHED at Pearl Harbor (the carriers, submarines, and oil storage tanks) were the first Japanese disaster of the war. And yes, I realize Enterprise and the other flattops weren't present. And that it would be a while before the submarines got a stranglehold on Japanese shipping. I can accept the argument that the Eastern Fleet prevented, for the first time in the war, the Japanese fleet from achieving their goal, but IMO its existence was hardly a disaster for the Japanese. --WeeWillieWiki (talk) 01:48, 22 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Stats missing edit

Hi Wikipedians, I noticed that the infobox is missing stats on opposed forces numbers and key units, ships on both sides, and casualties. Can anyone please help provide these? I do not have access to the sources cited and listed. Thanks & regards, DPdH (talk) 00:51, 6 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
