There is much in this article that refers to the suburb of Killara not East Killara. They do both happen to share the same postcode of 2071. Article also refers to a non-existent suburb of West Killara.

East Killara has clearly defined boundaries. To the West: Eastern Arterial Rd/Birdwood Ave, To the North: Rocky Creek, To the East: Middle Harbour Creek/Middle Harbour, To the South: Gordon Creek.

East Killara doesn't have within its boundaries; 4 Elva Ave, Ravenswood School For Girls, Marian St Theatre, Killara Railway Station, Killara Park or Killara Bowling & Lawn Tennis Clubs or Greengate Hotel.
