We have a proprietary manufacturer that does the usual FUD and implements copy-protections, uses "genuine" wording etc. What do you wonder about? All these things are blatant lies, equal to famous "windows is better than linux" compaign by MS.77.180.217.19 (talk) 22:16, 18 September 2014 (UTC)

I believe that this article does serve a good purpose, since this is a very common type of vehicle interface/diagnostics module used all over the world. However maybe the article should also cover the other types of ELM devices as well, not just the ELM327 which happens to be the most commonly used today. EV1TE (talk) 08:20, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
