Removed context tag: the context is quite adequately given in the introduction, there are links to both the The Football League and to English football league system which describe the context perfectly. Bob Palin 13:16, 11 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Cocacolalge2.jpg edit

Image:Cocacolalge2.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

English and Greek Football League 2 edit

I have added an {about} template, as "Football League 2" redirects to the English league, without any mention to the Greek league with the same name. I hope it's ok. :)

Move discussion in progress edit

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Football League Championship which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 14:15, 28 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Is there a better source for the competition logo? The one here currently (from Brands of the World, as is the case with the logos on the other EFL divsion pages) has the top set of 24 dots coloured, same as the Championship logo. For League Two it should be the bottom right set, as seen on the official website. I considered just downloading and recolouring the file, but I'm not confident in the accuracy of the logo in other respects, as they the BotW files are also inconsistent with the font size (the logo at EFL League One has noticeably larger text). I've uploaded a newer version of the logo, retrieved from the Football Manager 2019 game files (the game is an official license holder for the game, so will have accurate logos). Not only does this now correctly colour the EFL icon, the SkyBet is also the newer flatter version. AJCham 22:54, 20 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Full name edit

If the short name is EFL League Two, shouldn't the long name be English Football League League Two? --Jameboy (talk) 19:44, 10 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
