Significant parts of the article were cribbed without attribution edit

…for instance, from the Jonathan Sales obituary in the Guardian. Cf. the before and after, of today's edit of the Early career section, where the expressions "he worked his way up from copy boy to subeditor, reporter and gossip column editor" and "He then worked for the Glasgow Evening Citizen before moving to the Scottish Daily Express" written by Sales were all but directly used in the earlier version of the WP article. Closely paraphrasing a copyrighted, published source does not relieve one of the responsibility of citing the source used. I am citing Sales here, and modifying text as necessary, and will continue this over several weeks, to make sure the copyrighted sources for this article are given their due. 71.201.62.200 (talk) 14:53, 28 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Throughthemind: have you come across a photograph of E. S. Turner? I would like to improve the article but cannot seem to find a photograph. Psychologist Guy (talk) 17:02, 13 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
