Farrell/Spartan version

Well, of all the spiteful--! Someone beat me to it! John Spartan and I have fixed up this little gem of a play - would it be inappropriate to give a mention to our work? There's new music for the majority of it, and some additional songs to fill in the gaps. It's the only performing edition that's available, so if we can include it, I'll type something up. Yes, certainly, mention the new score and give any details of where it can be obtained, whether/when/where it was performed, etc., as long as the description is "encyclopedic" (i.e., not too many adjectives). Also, feel free to make any other edits to the article that you think are helpful. As I said above, the article desperately needs a plot summary. Can you give a website or other citation as to where the work can be obtained? Also, where was the performance, and where will the Nov. 29 performance be? Also, I made some copy edits to the article. Summary

I can certainly provide a summary. My new score has not been performed in its entirety; just the chorus "If you intend to stay with us" and my Fantasia on Themes from Dulcamara (which is an orchestral piece to be given on Nov 29). Thanks. Please write the summary without colloquialisms. I tried to read the synopsis for Jane Annie, but I couldn't really follow it. The Mousetrap Man is based on a waltz of the same name by W.H. Montgomery, but the singing version is by an R. Hughes. No music for either is available in IMSLP, but it's listed in a catalogue of available titles, as is the Jog-Along Boys number by R. Coote.

The opening phrase of accompaniment seems to fit the words. "Buy a Broom" is here too, but it's not a fit for the words at all, so there might be another setting that Gilbert was thinking of, and this can't be it. No way.
