"Bad" water edit

I removed the reference to "bad" water, since depending upon the system, the drain may be for a variety of other purposes than simply waste water disposal. Drains can be used for circulation, water level control, or emptying tanks (none of which implies anything wrong with the water other than the fact you don't need it there).--Bdmccray (talk) 23:48, 6 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Bad article edit

What a dreadful article. I have tried to tidy it up by removing unencyclopedic, irrelevant, and unreferenced material, and adding some links. It still needs a lot more work.-Shantavira|feed me 09:50, 15 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Is this a joke? edit

I landed on this page looking for information about plumbing codes, a topic it utterly fails to cover. The apparently nonexistent words "entubement" and "debunkment" made me wonder if this is some kind of hoax page, but it also contains some factual information. If it's a joke, it isn't particularly funny. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.119.65.67 (talk) 20:46, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

I think it's meant to be funny, section removed ahpook (talk) 22:58, 2 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Cleanup edit

I cleaned up the article by reorganizing it more logically and removing repetition and WP:OVERLINKING. Still more work is needed, especially on the references. Reify-tech (talk) 19:33, 16 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Modern Drain Clearing Methods edit

I tried to add relevant up to date content, and it was removed. They talk about a drain snake which causes more harm to drain pipes than it does good in todays society. There are much newer methods which they clearly choose to disregard. I think everyone can agree that if there are newer, more efficient ways for clearing drains then people should know about it. @Dylanw23 If there are "newer methods", then you need to provide reliable sources that discuss the methods. The website of a plumber using (and promoting!) the services is not reliable. —C.Fred (talk) 13:59, 29 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
