IGN Score & Article edit

Why was this comment used? It makes the IGN review sound negative, when it was more positive than anything else. I was surprised when I saw that comment and read that review expecting something scathing, but it hardly was. Perhaps remove this comment/replace it with something better?--219.126.109.1 (talk) 16:45, 27 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

ive been meaning to redo the reception section. Evaunit♥666♥ 01:18, 28 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Release in America edit

This may sound incredibly jawdropping and reek of English bias, but now that the game is released in America, shouldn't we remove all the japanese in this article? This is not a Japanese-only game anymore. It should be updated. --151.197.168.2 (talk) 06:15, 17 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I'm proposing a pair of editions. My English is not as good, so I won't be editing myself.

The game is not unreleased any more, it was released on 28th December 2006.

The gameplay is more like DQM 1 and 2, but quite not like the 3rd DQM game, DQM Caravan Heart for the Game Boy Advance. [1]

And actually TOSE has done 3D in the past. 伝説のスタフィー4 (Densetsu no Stafy 4). [2] [3]

Slime Knights edit

Please stop removing the link to Slime Knights, as it is an official Square Enix site for Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker, and being thus, does not violate Wikipedia link rules. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.9.31.242 (talk) 16:05, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

i just removed it because the site is closeing down the 30th. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.255.239.64 (talk) 06:16, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

A few small updates edit

I updated the "Reception" section with a new review since the article is still lacking. I also added the part in about uncharted islands. People with the Japanese versions experienced uncharted islands within the game, but they are random and aren't located on the main map.V-Dash 02:45, 6 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Theyre in the US version too, if that was in question. Evaunit♥666♥ 02:20, 27 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Meme edit

Is it notable that the North American advertisement for this game, which can be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5d0agRpuSo has become something of a meme on the internet? 71.192.54.222 (talk) 15:59, 13 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Quite possibly. Can you find any news articles or other sources like that that backs the claim up? Evaunit♥666♥ 02:32, 14 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

"There are three monsters, Trode (トロデ, Torode), Leopold (レオパルド, Reoparudo), and Empyrea (レティス, Retisu) that can not be scouted or bred in the normal game. The only way to get these monsters is to visit a DS Station in Japan."

I believe that in the US version of the game there are other ways to get these monsters based on the number of skills, monster types, etc that the character has in their Library. I will try to get more details and update this soon! Emry (talk) 02:33, 25 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
