Copyvio warning edit

As with the preceding book, this article consists of only the publisher's promotional copy and as such is considered copyvio and may be deleted by Wikipedia administrators. Someone familiar with this book needs to rewrite the plot summary section as soon as possible to avoid this. Thanks. 23skidoo 19:10, 19 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Internal continuity error edit

My edit removed the entry that said there was an 'Internal continuity error' regarding Pellar's promotion. Previous version justified the conflict by saying 'talks of taking a second apprentice, he performs a field promotion for Pellar' vs 'he is 'ecstatic' about becoming an official apprentice'. This synthesis is not only original research, but it is also incorrect. Page 54 of the book:

Zist frowned in thought for a moment and then nodded. "I'll rate you journeyman, pending more classes back at the Harper Hall. By the time we're done here, I'm sure you'll have earned it.

The editor called this a field promotion, but the book states that the journeyman rating is pending more classes, and therefore, it was not official. Being made an official apprentice, needing to take those classes to be an official journeyman, would not be a conflict. Sundaybrunch 11:02, 1 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:McCaffrey Dragons fire cover.jpg edit

Image:McCaffrey Dragons fire cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:51, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

2011 Note. Two days later, the contributor of the image slightly revised its file: Image revision, 7 June 2007.
