FOR1 edit

What does "FOR1" mean? --Raelifin 21:11, 23 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

"FOR1", although the reference has been removed from the page, was TSR's internal book reference code for that book. A recent example would be the code "175240000" listed on the spine of the Player's Handbook 3.5, First Printing 2003. The 9-digit number is also listed on the back, near the barcode, of every WoTC D20 product.

I know one of the WotC developers or designers made a comment somewhere about how this was meant to be the first in a series of "table book" style monster supplements (that, clearly, only half played out). Anyone know where that was? It is eluding me... Serpent's Choice 03:44, 7 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

chronology edit

i think the first paragraph seems misleading. even though the current book does have these attributes it does not mean the article should look like an advertisement for the product whilst it is still in publication. i think it would be better to remove the bias and have an introductory paragraph about what the purpose of Draconomicons are then discuss the individual books in chronological order leading up to the newest version. that will prevent any new edition book from needing to replace the current first paragraph and having it moved to the "older books" section as then any new book would just be added to the end of the list of book who share this name to show if/how they have changed. shadzar|Talk|contribs 18:46, 1 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
