Leetspeak edit

Just so you know,

If you attempt to read the lyrics in Leetspeak, you'll simulate reading it in its original form at 6 or so years old! Try it. See how hard it is? When you read a children's song in Leetspeak, you get a feel of how hard it was to read it in plain English back then. --Shultz 09:11, 30 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Guns of Navarone edit

The song "Yialo, Yialo" is featured in a cafe scene in the Guns of Navarone. When I first saw the movie this was the first song I thought of. Worth mentioning the movie?150.203.110.103 (talk) 15:57, 13 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Fish and Dish edit

Why are the words fish and dish links in the Lyrics section? It seems like something that should be removed. Lothp (talk) 03:13, 29 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Additional citations edit

Why and where does this article need additional citations for verification? What references does it need and how should they be added? Hyacinth (talk) 06:47, 10 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

song is from England circa 1914-1918? edit

I'm just researching the song and curious if Raffi's assertion is enough to definitively pin down the origin and date of the song. Is there any other evidence?
