Eligibility for 'start'? edit

Is dorymyrmex insanus eligible to be moved up from 'stub' to 'start'. If it is, how would this happen? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jacob4111 (talkcontribs) 03:46, 16 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi Jacob,
I have welcomed you on your talk page. :) You will see that if you just add ~~~~, i.e. four tildes after your post, it will automatically add your username, username page link, talk page link and date and time.
Secondly, have a look at the WikiProject Arthropods template at the top of this talk page. The template mentions that :
"This article has been rated as Stub-Class on the project's quality scale".
If you click this link it will take you to the Wikipedia:WikiProject Arthropods/Article Classification page. If you click "Grading Schemes" in the content box, you will find the clarification, you need. Do look it up.
Imho this article qualifies to be upgraded to start because it has been provided taxobox, two paragraphs of text, images, four references, external link to Commons, suitable stub template, WikiProject banner template on talk page and adequate categorisation. If a couple more paragraphs with matching citation are added, it can be upgraded to C class.
