Genre edit

why does it seem that most people in discussion say its industrial metal but the genre is down as nu-metal? and its cited to a page that errors....

Infact I just searched the cited site and it calls this band 'Hard Rock, Industrial Metal, Nu-Metal'.. so why was it just put as nu-metal and cited to a incorrect link?

I changed it hope no-one minds --91.108.64.177 (talk) 22:24, 6 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Inaccurate edit

"It was originally planned that Zum would produce their debut, however he was busy recording the album Mechanical Animals at the time." this can not be true as Zim-Zum was fired from Marilyn Manson due to the fact the he was not showing up for band practice or recording during the said album.99.153.29.112 (talk) 12:53, 21 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Stunt edit

I have heard that 'Racci "Sketchy" Shay' lit a match and put it out with his urethea. I think Industrial Metal/Industrial Rock would be somewhat more appropriate than Industrial Rock

Dope are MUCH too heavy to be Industrial Rock. Their music is chaotic compared to the definitive industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails. They are NOTHING BUT Industrial Metal. Read through the article itself at the bands collaborations, influences and history before changing anything! Most importantly, listen to the music itself. I am a massive fan of Dope, and their music is very much like Ministry/Static-X, and the vocals are almost identical to Marilyn Manson, all Industrial Metal/Rock artists. Once again, Dope ARE industrial metal. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.107.150.36 (talk) 13:41, 15 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

that's all good and fine however the genre tags are based on what the media labels the band, not what a massive fan labels them.

twelve monkeys edit

is there a connection between group therapy and the film twelve monkeys? The album art features monkeys in a similar pattern to that of the film and the song paranoia could be a reference to the movie as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.61.16.14 (talk) 17:00, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

This article is horribly biased. It reads like this crappy band's press release bio. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 167.21.3.6 (talk) 18:37, 13 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Industrial Metal edit

I remember that it was sourced. If it was sourced why was it removed? either way industrial Metal or Industrial Rock should be listed. Duck610 (talk) 11:38, 31 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Grammar? edit

"Felons & Revolutionaries was created after performing on the New York City club circuit, and releasing several promotional cassettes[6] the band was signed by Epic Records."

Maybe i'm wrong by the above sentence is grammatically incorrect.
