Inappropiate Information

With all due respect, is it appropiate to provide a public link to Mr. Draeger's grave? In most cultures only friends and family visit the grave of someone deceased. I'll wait a several weeks before removing the link. 134.121.244.50 (talk) 01:23, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

On Wikipedia talk pages, it is considered appropriate to sign entries using either a) your real name or b) a user name that links directly to your Wikipedia talk page or personal home page. As for Draeger's burial site, I supect that it was mentioned because the grave site was the subject of a published article some years back, namely H. Richard Friman, "Donald F. Draeger's Wisconsin Grave", Journal of Asian Martial Arts, 8:3 (1999). (NOTE: For the burial site of anyone buried in a VA cemetery, see the VA database, http://gravelocator.cem.va.gov/j2ee/servlet/NGL_v1.) As for what most cultures do, please provide your source. The photo of the gravestone is also already public. It is published on the official site of Kaminoda Tsunemori Sensei who trained Shinto Muso Ryu with Draeger. The photo is attached to an article describing Kaminoda Sensei paying his respects to Draeger. I've lost the link to the site unfortunetely. Fred26 (talk) 07:15, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

In spite of your encyclopedic knowledge of most cultures, you are wrong, and it is appropriate. That's why Arlington Cemetary provides a directory. Also, there's a little thing called the Tomb of the Unkown Soldier, perhaps you've heard of it? Edgar Alan Poe, F. "Donn" or "Donald"

I havent browsed the naming policy of Wiki lately, but shouldn't this article be named "Donald Draeger" instead of "Donn"? Even if it were used more frequently than his name. "Donn" was just his nickname right? Fred26 (talk) 11:59, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Why is this article rated C?

Bradford44 demoted this article from B to C with the comment 'does not meet the six criteria for B'. Does anyone notice exactly which criteria are not met? jmcw (talk) 18:39, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

Currently there are 6 references and 3 are to the same article "Nurse, Paul (May. 2006). "Donn F. Draeger: The Life and times of an American Martial Arts Pioneer". Black Belt Magazine (Rainbow Publications, Inc.) " So there is actually just the reference to this article, a reference to a Draeger Dojo and a couple of more references. It seems that of all the references that might be out there only one is used in the article.
