My comment edit

Ok, I apologize for being hasty: in this edit [1], I said in the edit summary This project is venerated. I meant this saint is venerated. --Sulmues (talk) 21:57, 27 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

You need to avoid sarcasm. Why is Kosovo related with Donatos? Do you have something to support this? (a source maybe)Alexikoua (talk) 22:14, 27 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

As I said there were (and still there are, although very few) Albanians in Kosovo who are of Eastern Orthodox faith. Please read this source Remnants of Orthodox Albanians, in Kosovo, went to live in mountains or rural parts of Montenegro. --Sulmues (talk) 11:29, 29 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
Quite weird, this means we have to add every wp tag, with countries that have just a few Orthodox people (Korea for example).Alexikoua (talk) 11:55, 29 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
No, you may have all the tags of the countries for which we have sources following which the saint is venerated in those countries. --Sulmues (talk) 12:05, 29 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
Btw, I'm not excluding that the saint venerated in Cyprus may be the same as this, but there is a chance that it may be one of the other Saint Donatus: For instance it may be Saint Donatus of Libya or Saint Donatus of Thmuis.--Sulmues (talk) 09:51, 30 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Anachronistic name edit

The name is completely anachronistic and non-existend in bibliography (neither Elsie says he is known as such). Since he was a bishop I propose this move:

Saint Donatus of Butrint->Saint Donatus of Evorea.Alexikoua (talk) 12:00, 29 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Absolutely fine with me. Please make a note of that in the Paramythia article, as Paramythia is today's Evorea per Elsie. --Sulmues (talk) 12:05, 29 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
Moved. In the Parmythia article a "St. Donatos of Zervochori" is mentioned as an old settlement. We might want to work in finding some sources for that settlement. --Sulmues (talk) 12:16, 29 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
