During his period in Parliament he paralyzed the ukrainian Academic world by adding a sentence to a government document regarding the Academy of Sciences - That it was allowed to participate in any commercial endevours. This was initially passed but it became interpretated as the various institutes could no longer sell their publications - Books, and magazine etc. As a result the academic bookstores had little to sell and most encyclopedic editions (hundreds of thousands of copies) that had been published wound up in storage with significant money being paid to store these publications --Bandurist (talk) 13:22, 19 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

1. Personaly I'm not sure that this info is that important to be included. But if you think so and you want to put it in article then you need to find a good reference for it And then it will be OK to include it. I guess Rus-Ua language press will be OK. 2. Possibly there is a mistake. You sad that "That it was allowed to participate in any commercial endevours.". And then "institutes could no longer sell". Poss you mean that they where not allowed.--Oleg Str (talk) 17:48, 23 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

You are correct. The information given however has not been publiehed in the press. It was told to me by the editor of the Ukrainian Music Encyclopedia.

Acctualy I don't mind about such inclusion. Being honest I'll say that many ppls don't care about such rule and do edits with much more critical info without normal reference or any reference at all ;-). May be you can look in Ukraines law database. There can be that law with info who and how changed it.--Oleg Str (talk) 21:04, 23 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

his Ministry could be involved with corrupt practices. They do not have evidence, and it could be that the Ministry is (just) not planning ahead very well. — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 16:04, 11 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
