Old talk edit

This article was branched off by me today from the Battle of Klushino. In that article, they say that it was the Poles who gained a striking victory, no mention whatever of their allies being made. But in this article, when the obvious mention of Polish agressors is made in relation to that battle, the Polish editors start to cry murder and strike it out on account that other people were featured in the Polish army as well. We notice a curious tendency: when a victory is mentioned the Polish-Lithuanian army is said to consist of the Poles only (as in Battle of Klushino), but when a massacre, agression, or defeat is mentioned they say that the Poles were only a small part of the army (as here}. Is it called NPOV in Poland? --Ghirlandajo 20:30, 8 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Accidentally, that's what stops me and KNewman from contributing new articles on subjects where even a passing mention of Poland or Ukraine is made. Such an article, within minutes from its creation, is to be assaulted by scores of Polish and Ukrainian revert maniacs who haven't started a single valuable article tehmselves but find their sole pleasure and occupation in the Wikipedia in turning the others' articles into a bunch of shit. --Ghirlandajo 20:30, 8 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Please do not overgeneralize. First, there aren't that many Ukrainian crussaders/maniacs (no need to mention their names). Second, the disagreements with the rest of the editors are handled civilly and they contribute to Russian articles too, where the disagreements with their contributions are also handled civilly. I would like to see Russian an Polish editors contribute even more to Ukrainian topics and I hope all editors will keep contributing to all topics. Let's avoid inflamatory generalization and, isntead, let's tone down a Russophobia article a little bit. Peace, --Irpen 21:02, 8 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Edit war? edit

Can somebody explain the rationale behind the recent edit wars. Are there any doubt that Shuia was the patronimy of Shuiskyes? Or that the Polish army was the invaders? Or that Shuiskies were Rurikids? abakharev 23:48, 8 November 2005 (UTC)Reply
