Years for reign and death? Something seems a "bit" off... edit

Just curious, but if I am reading this correctly, Djedefre died 30 years before his reign began?

In chronological order, from most historical date to most recent date:

2558BC - Died
2528BC - Began reign
2520BC - Ended reign
????BC - Died again?

I couldn't find anything explantory, but I am far from an expert on Ancient Egypt; so I figured I'd point it out in case an Egyptologist happened to stop by. ROBERTMFROMLI | TK/CN 05:21, 14 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

There are different suggested dates for the reign. Different experts can be off by quite a few years. My guess is that the reign was taken from one author, while the year of death was taken from the estimated year of reign from another author. I think Shaw may have been used as the source for most estimated dates. But you are right, this looks funny. Makes it look like he was one of the undead? :-) I wonder if these dates should be removed from the infobox. They give no indication of the wide spread of suggested dates. Writing something in more detail in the article seems more appropriate. --AnnekeBart (talk) 12:44, 14 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
