What did the plane catch under the parachute - a film canister or the whole 860 kg Discoverer-4 edit

What is the 'satellite recovery vehicle' that was caught under parachute. Was it 'just' a "film canister", or the whole 860 kg Discoverer-14 'satellite' that was ejected from the Agena ? Was all filming done while the Discoverer-14 was in the Agena ? Did the cameras stay in the Agena? I'm trying to find out details of the parachutes and how heavy the object caught by the plane was. Was Discoverer-14 the name of the mission/project, or the Agena, or the 'satellite recovery vehicle' ? - Rod57 (talk) 13:04, 17 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
