The fact that you divided the sections into subsections made the article much easier to read and comprehend! You might want to work on your intro a little bit: it is very interesting, but I found it a little hard to read, because there were so many numbers. You might want to have less statistics and more general information (like define disability?) in the intro and have the statistics in the article itself? Also, with that many numbers and statistics, would a chart maybe be something to consider to make the article more comprehensive? The chart you added into the Law section made it much clearer, so awesome job on that! The article does not seem biased to me and I think you're covering all or at least most of the key points relevant to the subject. Over all your article is easy to read, thanks to your good grammar and the awesome job you did proofreading the article, you get the message through well and the article is mostly efforless to read. I also like the fact that you provide so many links to oter article from yours. The images you added are relevant and positioned where they make sense. However I do think that more images would make the article even better. The article has very good sourcing for the most part. However, there are a couple places in the article (for example in the Language section) where the reader wonders where/which source the statement came from, and you might want to source it.AAla-Seppälä (talk) 23:57, 5 November 2014 (UTC)AAla-SeppäläReply

Your article looks really good. Your coverage of many aspects of disability makes the article feel complete and comprehensive. I was impressed with the changes to organization that you made. The article appears much more together with the new headings and subheadings. The chart was a great idea; it gives a nice overview of the laws associated with disability without being too dense. It was suggested that your introduction be more concise. I did not find it too difficult for readers, but it would be interesting to see all those numbers placed in a chart. Maybe a more general overview of disability, then a transition into disability in China. I like the section on Deng Pufang, but I wonder if it should be taken a bit further. It seems like that particular section is more about the shift toward disability services and equality. I would look for more information about how and/or why that shift happened outside of just Pufang's influence. Other than that, I would suggest proofreading, citation checks, and minor rewording; it just needs polishing. Ratilley (talk) 06:48, 6 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

I have to disagree - this article must not include a "general overview of disability" - that's what the Disability article exists for. This is not a term paper, it's a Wikipedia article, expansive background, explanations and introductions are not included, they are wikilinked. A Wikipedia article must stick to it's defined subject - neither China, nor disability should be described or defined here. Only if this article uses a different meaning/scope of the terms "China" or "disability" than the respective articles, then the deviations from that article's definition/meaning/scope need to be explained. What do you mean it’s “common in China”? What does that mean? Hwfr (talk) 16:16, 19 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
