The criticism of the Fick method being "inaccurate" is vague and not true. Assessment of cardiac output via direct, invasive procedures is considered the gold standard against which less invasive procedures (e.g., carbon dioxide rebreathing, acetylene uptake, etc) are evaluated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.15.51.230 (talk) 16:31, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
