Coronary Steal edit

I would think that more attention should be given to coronary steal in this article. The quote below, taken from this article, suggests that administering Dipyridamole might be advantageous in the ischemic heart which would seem to be in contrast to the later statements about coronary steal.

"Dipyridamole treatment has shown to increase myocardial perfusion and left ventricular function in patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy." —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dr. Doof (talkcontribs) 02:37, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Dipyridamole vs Dipyramidole edit

Is dipyramidole the same thing as dipyridamole? In one of my texts it reads "dipyramidole inhibits thromboxane synthase", and it doesn't seem like dipyridamole has that effect. Are those different compounds?

Most likely a typo. Fvasconcellos (t·c) 12:51, 19 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
