The First Picture edit

DragoonWraith 21:00, 20 July 2006 (UTC): I dunno, could just be me, but the first picture isn't very good. Looks more like cereal than Dippin' Dots (though I would imagine that it would be hard to get a better picture, it's hard to see that they're cold - better lighting, at least, would be nice).Reply

Information edit

The info is confusing. E.g., "Dippin' Dots are not sold in 'takeout' places like supermarkets" compared to "They are just starting selling at takeout spots." Carn29 19:45, 10 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Actualy they do sell them at-home...for about $140 you can have some delivered to your house in a special cooler.

12.152.140.225 (talk) 02:59, 19 June 2016 (UTC)also they are sold in my local Grocery Store (Weis) here in Binghamton. I've never bought them there however http://locator.dippindots.com/search.php?lat=42.1292854&long=-75.84177499999998Reply

The "Location" bit is confusing too. Why mention Hondouras & Luxembourg instead of all 14 countries. At the very least the United States should be added as clearly there are sold there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.93.229.244 (talk) 01:27, 26 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Space Dots edit

I don't have a citation for this, but the Visitor center of the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, FL markets Dippin' Dots under the name Space Dots. Can anyone find a citation? 72.40.104.171 (talk) 18:25, 18 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I remember that. --65.100.114.216 (talk) 21:30, 19 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

The Temperature edit

The page says:

Because the product requires storage at temperatures below −40 °F (−40 °C), it is not sold in grocery stores, which cannot provide such extreme cooling requirements.

-40F is not -40C.

Not sure which is right, but this needs revision.

They're both right. Celsius#Common_temperatures 24.240.43.118 (talk) 18:19, 28 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

There's an entirely different problem, however- I was just at a grocery store and I bought Dippin Dots there in a special refrigerator. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.170.168.75 (talk) 20:01, 25 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Spicer & Reaction edit

Trump's White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer sent five disparaging tweets over the span of 5 years. However, the company has responded in a more positive manner. JenniferRSong (talk) 23:19, 23 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Sean Spicer edit

An editor recently deleted the section on Sean Spicer's tweets regarding the Dots. While it may seem somewhat trivial, this article is hardly overstuffed with details, and the matter got coverage on NPR, in the New York Times and the Washington Post among others, and was still getting mentioned in coverage of the company several years later. As such, it seems to pass WP:DUE concerns. I am reverting the deletion, although am open for discussion. --Nat Gertler (talk) 23:50, 24 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
