Is this article correctly titled? My OED had no entry for 'dickie' but has 'dicky/dickey', pluralised as 'dickies/dickeys'. Matthew 23:08, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

Dickeys have been worn two different ways, similar, but different. This article mostly describes the dickey as a shirtfront which I'll call the traditional style, rarely worn today, which I would also not classify as "underwear", except that it is under your jacket but in a sense over or part of your shirt. The current surviving modern form of dickey, for example the turtleneck dickey mentioned in the article, is more a piece of undershirt, worn to appear as if you are wearing a turtleneck sweater under your shirt, but it's really just the turtleneck part. I think the article should reflect this. Traditionally, a man appearing in public or receiving guests at home without his jacket on would be considered as if he were wearing underwear, but where having your shirtfront dickey laundered separately from the shirt would be to save you from laundering your shirt, I would expect today that people would more frequently launder the shirt and not the dickey which is worn for appearance or perhaps as a warmer wrap for the neck without wearing a full sweater. source: my mother used to put me in turtleneck dickeys! 108.14.125.206 (talk) 20:03, 16 September 2014 (UTC)

Typo - besom or bosom?

I can't believe that someone would make a typo on a word as obscure as 'besom' three times in the same paragraph. After a Google search I believe 'besom' is correct.
