Dickheads Matches edit

I've removed the reference to Dickheads Matches, as they weren't released under the Dick Smith Foods brand and they are mentioned in the Dick Smith article. --Canley 15:06, 25 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

On 26 July 2018, Dick Smith announced the business would close in 2019 due to competition with German supermarket Aldi and to avoid bankruptcy.[3] edit

Biased one sided! Ignores the fact "Australian companies" coles woolworths actually have a much higher % of foreign made products!--Theapemonkey (talk) 10:03, 29 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

It's simply the reason given by the principal of the subject firm; WP is not saying that this is, indeed, so. If some public figure or creditable source pipes up and makes the statement you are making here, that may be added to the article with its source, providing the balance Theapemonkey thinks is lacking. sirlanz 10:15, 29 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

So you admit its not balanced.--Theapemonkey (talk) 11:12, 30 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

I am merely inviting any editor who feels there is any imbalance in the article to incorporate balancing material which is adequately sourced. The article now contains a statement of fact, i.e. that the founder of the subject business gave that reason for closing it. sirlanz 13:13, 30 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
