If Dhanajoy Chatterjee was 41 years old at the time of his execution in August 14 2004, that would mean he was born in 1963. Being born in 1965 would make him 39 years old.Aishah Bowron,15:45, 22 March 2006

But unless I just can't see it, the article doesn't say he was 41. Those references which mention his age, e.g. Indolink, and MSNBC, say he was 39. -- Arwel (talk) 16:33, 22 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

The victim is 18 years old. It is wrongly mentioned as 14 years in the article. Refer the judgment here.http://indiankanoon.org/doc/1351933/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.227.30.129 (talk) 06:24, 1 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Discrepancies edit

There are discrepancies between the court order available at India Kanoon website and this article, include about age. Yogesh Khandke (talk) 19:37, 5 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Also the tone of the article is un-encyclopaedic like a case is being argued. Yogesh Khandke (talk) 19:38, 5 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

14 is far too many "External links" and needs to be trimmed down. Otr500 (talk) 00:51, 30 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

WOW! I would state "Massively edited" is an understatement. While I did not dig into the edits there apparently was an extremely large amount of "too much". It goes to show that an article can be inundated with references and images, with heavy bias towards "The innocence of Dhananjoy Chatterjee", that leaves it begging for a neutrality tag. This was especially noticeable beginning with the section Was Dhananjoy framed?, that had sub-sections containing the word "Dubious", and the Miscarriage of justice section that surely contained original research, so thanks on that part.
There was content, "A book Hangwoman authored by KR Meera was inspired from Dhananjoy hanging.", and a reference (http://indianexpress.com/article/lifestyle/books/the-executioners-song/%7Ctitle=Book review: KR Meera borrows liberally from the mystique of the Dhananjoy hanging in Hangwoman), that seemed to be interesting but I didn't look at relevance.
